The researcher highlights the importance of Christian spiritual formation playing a very important role in the character formation of middle-aged adolescents, namely those aged between 12 and 15 years, who are in a critical phase in physical, psychological, and social development. Adolescence is a period of searching for self-identity and adjustment to the environment, which often presents challenges in the formation of attitudes and behavior. Christian spiritual formation helps adolescents to understand moral and spiritual values that direct them to live with love, honesty, and responsibility. This study aims to explore the role of spiritual formation in shaping the character of middle-aged adolescents, as well as the challenges faced in the process. Through a qualitative approach with a literature review, this study found that Christian spiritual formation is not only applied in church activities, but also in everyday life through integrated moral teaching. This formation aims to develop positive attitudes, empathy, discipline, and responsibility in middle-aged adolescents. The results of this study are expected to provide insight for parents, churches, and communities to increase the effectiveness of healthy and positive adolescent character formation.
