Abstract

Christian Religious Education (PAK) in the family sphere has a significant role as a basis for cultivating the faith of children and adults. The family as a small church (ecclesia domestica) is the main forum for forming spiritual growth through Christian values ​​that are taught consistently. This research aims to analyze the implementation of PAK in the family as an effort to foster faith, the methods used, and the challenges faced. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through literature studies, interviews and observations of Christian families. The research results show that the implementation of PAK in the family is carried out through activities such as joint prayer, Bible reading, family worship, and the application of Christian values ​​in daily life. Supporting factors include the active role of parents as primary educators and church support in providing spiritual formation. However, challenges that arise include busy parents, the influence of digital media, and the lack of theological understanding in some families. In conclusion, PAK in the family has a positive impact on forming a strong faith, building harmonious relationships, and providing provisions for children and adults in facing life's challenges. Therefore, family commitment and church support are needed to optimize PAK as a sustainable faith formation effort.
