Unemployment in Hutabarat Sosunggulon Village has become an issue affecting the social and economic aspects of the community, including an increase in criminal activities. This study aims to analyze the role of the church in addressing unemployment through a catfish farming program as a micro-enterprise based on agribusiness. By leveraging available local resources, this program is expected to reduce unemployment rates, enhance community skills, and create new job opportunities. The church plays a strategic role in mobilizing the community through training, mentoring, and providing initial capital while integrating principles of ecology and sustainability. This comprehensive approach is also expected to strengthen the independence and responsibility of young people, in line with biblical teachings that view work as a divine calling. The study's findings indicate that revitalizing catfish farming can positively impact the community and help reduce unemployment in the village.
