PENGARUH KREATIVITAS GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 2 HUTA BAYU RAJA

The focus of the research is to describe the influence of Christian Religious Education Teachers’ Creativity on the Learning Motivation of Students at SMP Negeri 2 Huta Bayu Raja. The results of the linearity test for Student Learning Motivation (Y) over the Creativity of Christian Religious Education Teachers (X) yielded Ŷ = 20.088 + 0.693XY^=20.088+0.693X, which has a linear relationship at a significance level of 5%. With the correlation analysis technique, a correlation coefficient between the variable of Christian Religious Education Teachers’ Creativity and the variable of Student Learning Motivation of 0.583 was obtained. Therefore, this data indicates that the influence of Christian Religious Education Teachers’ Creativity on Student Learning Motivation is 57.0%. From the data analysis results, both data come from a population that is normally distributed: the probability value or significance (sig.) of the Christian Religious Education Teachers’ Creativity data is 0.40, which is greater than alpha = 0.05α=0.05. The probability value or significance (sig.) of the Student Character data is 0.124, which is greater than alpha = 0.05α=0.05. This research shows that the critical “r” coefficient value is 0.278, which, when consulted against the table value “r” for a significance level of 0.05, is 0.77. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the Creativity of Christian Religious Education Teachers and Student Learning Motivation. The coefficient value of the “t” test result is 3.795, which, when consulted against the table value ttable with N = 40 for a significance level of 95% = 2.048, thus obtained t > ttable (3.795 > 2.02)tcalculated>ttable(3.795>2.02).Therefore, with the significant relationship of both variables in this research, namely Christian Religious Education Teachers’ Creativity on Student Learning Motivation, it can be concluded that the higher the Creativity of Christian Religious Education Teachers (X), the automatically higher the Student Learning Motivation (Y) will be.
