Pengaruh Khotbah Terhadap Iman dan Minat Jemaat dalam Beribadah

Abstract

Sermons play an important role in shaping and enhancing the faith of the congregation as part of spiritual development in religious life. This study aims to analyze the influence of sermons on the level of faith of the congregation, with a focus on the content, delivery method, and relevance of the sermon message. The methodology used is a quantitative and qualitative approach through surveys and interviews with congregations in certain churches. The results of the study indicate that sermons delivered in a relevant, interactive, and in-depth manner can strengthen the congregation's understanding and spiritual beliefs. In addition, factors such as communication style, use of illustrations, and the relevance of sermon content to daily life contribute significantly to increasing the involvement and appreciation of the congregation in their faith. This study provides recommendations for preachers to develop more contextual and participatory methods in order to strengthen the congregation's faith in a sustainable manner.
