Abstract

Christian religious education in the family has a very important role in building children's spirituality, especially in the digital era which is full of challenges and opportunities. This research aims to identify the role of families in integrating Christian religious values into their children's lives, by making positive use of developments in digital technology. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes the experiences of parents, Christian Religious Education teachers, and church figures regarding the implementation of Christian religious education at home. The main focus of this research is to identify the challenges families face in teaching Christianity, as well as solutions that can be implemented so that children can continue to develop spiritually even in the midst of a dynamic digital world. The research results show that although digital technology offers easy access to a variety of spiritual information, challenges in its use for religious education remain, especially in controlling its negative impacts. Therefore, active involvement of parents, support from the church, and contextual and adaptive religious education are very necessary in developing children's spirituality in the digital era.
