Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of the Question and Answer Method used by Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers on the learning activeness of Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research hypothesis posits a positive and significant influence of the PAK teacher's Question and Answer Method on the learning activeness of Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research method used is descriptive and inferential quantitative. The population consists of all Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year who are Protestant Christians, totaling 149 students. A random sample of 25% of the population, or 38 students, was selected. The research instrument was a closed-ended questionnaire. The results of the data analysis show: a) The value of r_calculated = 0.732 > r_table = 0.320 and t_calculated = 6.446 > t_table = 2.02809 indicate a positive and significant relationship between the PAK teacher's Question and Answer Method and the learning activeness of Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. b) Regression equation . c) The determination test shows that the influence is 53.58%. d) The hypothesis test yields F_calculated = 41.546 > F_table = 3.23, thus rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. The study concludes that there is a positive and significant influence of the PAK teacher's Question and Answer Method on the learning activeness of Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.
