Analisis Faktor Ekonomi Penyebab Terjadinya Kekerasan dalam Pacaran Kepada Empat Orang Alumni IAKN Tarutung

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the economic factors contributing to dating violence among four alumni of IAKN Tarutung. The research employs a qualitative approach, specifically a case study method. The subjects of the study consist of four female students from IAKN Tarutung who have experienced dating violence, identified as AB, AD, BA, and BC. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews. The data analysis was carried out in three stages: Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing (Verification). The results of this case study, involving female students who have experienced dating violence, reveal several key findings. First, the types of violence experienced by the students include physical violence, psychological violence, and sexual violence, all of which were triggered by economic factors (inadequate financial support from parents to meet daily needs). Second, the factors contributing to the violence include individual factors, social environmental factors, and cultural factors. Third, the impacts on the victims of dating violence include psychological, physical, and sexual consequences. Lastly, the study seeks to understand the reasons why the victims choose to remain in these abusive relationships.
