This study aims to analyze the application of creative teaching methods in Christian Religious Education (CRE) to enhance students’ active participation. CRE learning processes are often considered monotonous, which reduces students’ interest in engaging in learning activities. Consequently, students’ understanding of religious values becomes less optimal. Through a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this research explores the implementation of creative methods such as group discussions, educational games, simulations, and the use of audio-visual media. The findings indicate that creative teaching methods can create a dynamic and engaging learning atmosphere, encouraging students to actively participate in the learning process. This approach also helps students understand and internalize Christian faith values in their daily lives. The implementation of these methods involves analyzing students’ needs, planning relevant learning objectives, utilizing innovative teaching media, and conducting continuous evaluations. This study is expected to serve as a reference for educators in designing more interactive, meaningful, and effective learning processes to support the holistic development of students’ character.
