Abstract

Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers have a strategic role in developing student character that is in line with Christian values. In the world of education, character is one of the fundamental aspects that must be instilled in students to produce a moral and spiritual generation. This article examines how the role of PAK teachers as educators, role models and spiritual leaders can shape the character of students. PAK teachers use a holistic education approach not only teaching religious knowledge but also instilling values ​​such as love, justice, loyalty and forgiveness in their students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach using data obtained from observations, interviews and literature research. The results of the research show that PAK teachers' active participation in learning, example in daily life, and the application of appropriate teaching methods have a big influence on the development of students' character. In conclusion, the role of PAK teachers is very important in instilling strong Christian character in students and developing individuals who not only excel academically but also have character integrity.
