Abstract

The word ethics comes from the Greek, ethos which means character, manners or way of life.It can be interpreted that ethics shows "a way of acting as there is because of the agreement based on a group of people" & ethics are generally used for the study of the system of values ​​that are claimed by the code as a result of which what is called a code of ethics or literally a code of ethics means the origin of ethics. The code of ethics has an important role in improving the quality of teaching, especially in Christian Religious Education (PAK). This study aims to identify and analyze the contribution of the code of ethics in building the integrity, responsibility, and professionalism of PAK teachers. Using a qualitative approach, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, literature studies, and observations in Christian-based educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that consistent application of the code of ethics not only improves the quality of teaching, but also creates trust between teachers and students. In addition, the code of ethics functions as a moral guideline that supports the delivery of Christian values ​​effectively, relevantly, and ethically. This study recommends strengthening the application of the code of ethics in the PAK teacher training curriculum to ensure that the goals of faith-based education can be achieved properly. In managing learning, teachers play a very important role. Teachers are the implementers of the teaching and learning process so that the success of their teaching greatly determines the success of education in general. The results of theoretical studies show that learning management in the functional tasks of teachers will be carried out effectively and efficiently if teachers are able to carry out their role as managers of instruction in creating learning situations through the use of teaching and learning facilities.
