The role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) for adults in modern society is very important, considering the challenges faced in increasingly complex social life. Based on psychological and sociological perspectives, adult PAK not only functions to strengthen individual faith, but also to build harmonious relationships between people in a rapidly changing society. Psychology views adult PAK as a tool to stabilize a person's emotional and mental condition, as well as a means to overcome various life stresses that are often experienced by adult individuals. Meanwhile, from a sociological perspective, adult PAK plays a role in strengthening the social values that underlie social life, such as justice, love and peace. In this modern era, with rapid social changes, the challenges for adult PAK are increasingly greater, especially in maintaining a balance between personal life, work and spirituality. Therefore, there is a need for a more contextual approach in teaching PAK to adults so that they can face this challenge wisely and still adhere to the principles of Christian teachings.
