Abstract

Christian Religious Education (PAK) aims to shape character based on Christian values such as love, justice, and integrity. The implementation of a code of ethics is a vital aspect in ensuring that these values are not only taught but also practically applied by students. This article highlights the critical role of the code of ethics in supporting the integration of Christian values through the theory and practice of PAK instruction. A code of ethics serves as a moral guide that helps students understand and internalize principles for living. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review to analyze the relationship between the code of ethics, Christian values, and PAK instruction. The findings indicate that implementing a code of ethics can create a conducive learning environment for the formation of Christian character, strengthen moral responsibility, and increase awareness of the importance of living in accordance with Christ's teachings. Teachers, as ethical role models, play a strategic role in integrating the code of ethics into the curriculum and learning activities. The code of ethics is not merely a tool for behavior control but also a means for spiritual and moral formation. This study underscores the need for the development of a relevant and contextual code of ethics, accompanied by training for educators to optimize its implementation. With this approach, PAK can serve as a holistic platform for transformation that promotes the embodiment of Christian values in daily life.
