Abstract

Professionalism of Christian Religious Education teachers in helping students develop their Christian character. The role of PAK teachers as role models and educators of Christian principles is increasingly important in the context of increasingly complex times. Through qualitative research and analysis, this study identifies the advantages such as mastery of material, pedagogical abilities, and deep spirituality that PAK teachers must have in order to become professionals. In addition, this research explores teaching methods that are successful in fostering Christian values ​​among students. Research findings show that the professionalism of PAK teachers has a great influence on the development of children's Christian character, so that they can give birth to a new generation of students who believe and demonstrate Christian values. Students' Christian character is shaped, among other things, by the professionalism of PAK teachers which includes pedagogical, social and spiritual competence as well as dedication to Christian ideals. In addition, this research highlights a number of obstacles that PAK teachers face in carrying out their duties and offers suggestions for increasing their level of professionalism.
