Abstract

This journal article aims and explains the history of the development and future of Christian religious education. Knowledge about the historical development and future of Christian religious education is also needed in the world of education, especially in the world of Christian religious education. The application of the history of the development and future of Christian religious education makes it possible to determine the goals, methods and approaches to learning by studying students' attitudes and behavior regarding development and the future, when students receive education, and when they enter school. This is very important in order to develop a likeness to the mature character of Christ. For this reason, this article will aim to describe the history of development and future of Christian religious education that an educational institution must have and the discussion of this journal article aims to find out: (1) the meaning of education, (2) the meaning of development and the future, (3) understanding of Christian religious education, (4) history of development and future of Christian religious education.
