Abstract

Sexual harassment is an act that violates moral values, human dignity and personal integrity, which is a serious issue in various social contexts, including in religious communities. In view of Christian ethics, sexual harassment is seen as a violation of Biblical values that uphold human dignity as the Imago Dei (image of God). Christian ethics condemns sexual abuse as a sin that harms human relationships with each other and God, and is contrary to the commandment of love (Matthew 22:37-40). This research aims to explore sexual harassment from the perspective of Christian ethics, emphasizing the importance of moral responsibility, justice and healing. Through theological and ethical studies, this research also offers practical principles for preventing and handling sexual harassment in the church and society. The research results show that an approach based on love, respect and justice can be the basis for handling cases of sexual harassment, as well as creating communities of safety and integrity.
