Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the code of ethics of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in strengthening student character education. The code of ethics of PAK teachers has a crucial role in educating students not only based on academic aspects, but also in building character from Christian values. This study uses a qualitative narrative approach using a mixed method, which combines in-depth interviews, observations, and dissemination of general news to teachers, students, and school principals. The results of the study explain that the implementation of the code of ethics of PAK teachers has a significant effect on the formation of student character, especially in instilling values ​​such as honesty, love, peace, and responsibility. Teachers, as role models in moral and spiritual life, play a key role in this process. In addition, environmental factors, such as support from family and residents, contribute to the success of character education. This study emphasizes the importance of cooperation between teachers, parents, and residents in building an educational atmosphere that supports the formation of student character. The implementation of a consistent and committed code of ethics as a basis for creating a generation that is not only academically superior, but also has a strong moral foundation in facing challenges’ life.
