Pengaruh Pengelolaan Sarana dan Prasarana Terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Siborong Borong, Kab. Tapanuli Utara Tahun 2025

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of facilities and infrastructure management on the learning interest of Grade X students at SMK Negeri 1 Siborong Borong. This research employed a quantitative method with a correlational research design. The population comprised all Grade X students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year at SMK Negeri 1 Siborong Borong, characterized by active participation in regular classes, totaling 346 students. A sample of 77 students was determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire consisting of 45 items. The results of the data analysis indicate a positive and significant influence of facilities and infrastructure management on students’ learning interest. This is evidenced by the following analysis: 1. Analysis Prerequisite Tests: a) Test of Positive Influence: The correlation coefficient obtained was rₓᵧ = 0.591 > rtable (α = 0.05, n = 77) = 0.227, indicating a positive correlation between variable X and variable Y.
b) Significance Test of the Relationship: The tcalculated value was 6.349 > ttable (α = 0.05, df = n – 2 = 75) = 2.000, confirming a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2. Influence Tests: a) Regression Equation Test: The resulting regression equation was Ŷ = 21.593 + 0.595X. b) Coefficient of Determination Test: The coefficient of determination (R²) was 35%, indicating that facilities and infrastructure management explains 35% of the variation in students’ learning interest. 3) Hypothesis Testing (F-test): The Fcalculated value was 40.311 > Ftable = 4.00. Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected.
