Abstract

Politeness is a form of morals that everyone must have and is a culture of Indonesian society that needs to be upheld when socializing with other people. This research aims to describe the stages of instilling good manners through an outreach program to the Jacob's children's community. This research is field research, namely research with a qualitative approach. The subjects or key informants in this research are the children of the Jacob community and the objects or supporting informants are the accompanying teachers. To obtain research data, researchers used. Observation techniques are collected by paying attention to how the children of the Jacob community behave. The data used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. At this stage the teacher conveys good and bad values through lectures in the form of presenting cases or giving advice. At this stage the teacher uses the modeling method, providing physical touch and telling inspirational stories.
