Abstract

The The code of ethics is an essential guideline that provides direction and standards of behavior for Christian Religious Education teachers. This article aims to analyze the role of the code of ethics in enhancing the professionalism of teachers. Through a qualitative approach, this research collects data from interviews and relevant literature studies. The findings indicate that the implementation of the code of ethics can enhance teachers' discipline, integrity, and responsibility, which in turn contributes to the quality of teaching. Additionally, the code of ethics serves as a tool for building trust among teachers, students, and parents. This study concludes that a consistently implemented code of ethics is vital in creating a positive learning environment that supports teachers' professionalism.
