Abstract

Teachers have a strategic role in forming a quality generation through teaching, guidance and example. The teacher code of ethics is a guideline for maintaining professionalism, integrity and quality of education. A teacher is required to have competence, patience, creativity and empathy in carrying out his duties, such as teaching, assessing and building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues. Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers play an important role in guiding students to live according to the Christian faith and providing good examples. The teacher's example is needed to shape student character through exemplary behavior. In addition, spiritual education helps students develop an awareness of relationships with God, others and the environment, thereby forming a positive attitude and strong character. By implementing a code of ethics, carrying out duties well, provide role models, and integrate spiritual education.
