Abstract

Teachers as professional educators are tasked with educating, guiding, developing, training, assessing and evaluating students in early childhood education through formal education. In carrying out their duties, teachers have responsibilities towards their students, their parents, society, nation, state, and religion. In carrying out their work, teachers have rights such as income, promotion, and opportunities to improve their skills, as well as responsibilities such as planning well and continuing to develop their qualifications and skills. Teachers who carry out their duties well are called professional teachers. Teachers with various skills and competencies that are interrelated: pedagogical, personal, social, and professional. The purpose of this journal is to understand the professional responsibilities of teachers in the field of education. The expected conclusion is that the professional responsibilities of a teacher include intellectual, social, moral, and spiritual dimensions, all of which are important in shaping the character and future of students.
