Karakter Yang Arif Pada Ama Na Marsahala Dalam Memberdayakan Jemaat Sebagai Generasi Penerus

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the wise character of Ama Na Marsahala in empowering the congregation as the next generation. Ama Na Marsahala, as a leadership figure in Batak culture, holds a strategic role in transferring values of wisdom to the younger generation through a local wisdom-based approach. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, examining the behaviors, principles, and strategies of Ama Na Marsahala in educating and motivating the congregation. The findings reveal that wise character is demonstrated through attitudes of justice, exemplary leadership, and the ability to build harmonious relationships that foster spiritual and social transformation. This study contributes to understanding the role of cultural leadership in empowering the next generation within the church context.
