Peran Nilai-nilai Kristiani dalam Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Kristen di Indonesia

Abstract

Christian education has an important role in forming the character of Christian students in Indonesia, by instilling Christian values ​​that can form individuals who are responsible, disciplined and have integrity. This research aims to explore the influence of Christian values ​​in shaping the character of Christian students in Indonesia, by emphasizing the importance of religious education in forming morals and morals. Values ​​such as love, honesty, responsibility and respect are taught as the basis for character formation, which plays a role in the development of positive attitudes and good social behavior. In this context, the role of teachers, families and church communities is very important in instilling these values. The research results show that the application of Christian values ​​in education can increase students' awareness of their personal and social responsibilities, which will contribute to the development of good character. Christian religious education in Christian schools in Indonesia can be an important means of forming a young generation who is not only academically intelligent, but also has good character in accordance with the teachings of Christ.
