This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of religious education teachers in web-based learning at Hutatinggi Elementary School. With the advancement of information technology, web-based learning has become an increasingly popular method in education, including religious education. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews and observations of the teaching processes conducted by religious education teachers. The study subjects consist of two religious education teachers and twenty sixth-grade students. The results indicate that religious education teachers skilled in utilizing web technology can enhance students’ motivation and understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, factors such as support from the school and adequate training for teachers significantly contribute to the success of web-based learning. This study concludes that the efficacy of religious education teachers in utilizing web technology is essential for improving the quality of religious education in the digital era. Recommendations are provided for further training for teachers and the development of curricula that support the integration of technology into the learning process.
