The role of psychology in education has a significant impact on fostering positive student attitudes, which are closely related to their academic success and socio-emotional development. Positive attitudes encompass various aspects, such as learning motivation, self-confidence, the ability to collaborate, as well as empathy and other social skills. This study aims to explore how psychological approaches—particularly positive reinforcement, humanistic theory, and social cognitive theory—can be applied in education to shape positive student attitudes. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques that include observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and the distribution of surveys to measure changes in student attitudes. The study involves students across various educational levels, teachers, and educational practitioners as research subjects. The findings indicate that the application of psychological techniques in education—such as positive reinforcement through rewards or praise, the use of modeling by teachers to demonstrate positive behavior, and the humanistic approach that emphasizes the importance of self-worth and emotional support—can significantly enhance students' positive attitudes. Additionally, the results reveal notable changes in student behavior, such as increased motivation, strengthened self-confidence, and improved ability to collaborate with peers. Based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers and educational institutions further integrate psychological principles into curricula and teaching strategies, as well as provide training for teachers to better understand child psychology and effective methods for fostering positive student attitudes. This study makes an important contribution to the development of a more inclusive education system that supports student well-being, not only in academic aspects but also in their emotional and social development.
