Makna Kode Etik dalam Mewujudkan Tanggung Jawab Sosial

Abstract

Codes of ethics function as guidelines for behavior in various professions, including in realizing social responsibility. This article discusses the meaning of a code of ethics as a moral and professional foundation for maintaining a balance between the interests of individuals, society and the environment. A code of ethics not only reflects integrity and commitment, but is also an instrument in strengthening the social role of each individual and organization in social life.  This research examines how the implementation of a code of ethics can increase social awareness in the world of business and organizations, as well as its contribution to reducing negative impacts on the environment and society. With a qualitative approach, this journal concludes that implementing an effective code of ethics will encourage organizations to pay more attention to social, environmental and economic aspects in decision making, and lead to the creation of better social responsibility in society.
