Abstract

Christian leadership is a divine calling that involves leaders in serving God's people by proclaiming His Word and guiding the believers toward God's purposes. This leadership is dynamic and continuous, emphasizing service that motivates, provides guidance, and evaluates the congregation according to God's will. In the principles of Christian leadership, a leader is required to continually learn, serve, radiate positive energy, and maintain a balanced life. Leaders are also expected to create synergy and renew themselves to achieve high performance. Furthermore, in the context of Christian Religious Education, teacher professionalism is a key factor in ensuring quality education. This professionalism includes high competence and character, discipline, the development of knowledge through training, and dedication to effective teaching. Christian Religious Education teachers must possess adequate competencies, discipline in time management, and the ability to adapt to the demands of a competency-based curriculum. Thus, Christian leadership and the professionalism of Christian Religious Education teachers are interconnected in supporting the achievement of educational goals and quality church service.
