Abstract

The code of ethics is the main guide in carrying out duties professionally, including for Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers. This journal examines how the code of ethics acts as an ethical basis that supports the professionalism of PAK teachers in creating education that is rooted in Christian values. Through literature analysis and theological reflection, this research shows that codes of ethics do not only function as rules of behavior, but also constitute a moral and spiritual call for PAK teachers to carry out their responsibilities with integrity, commitment, and love. Christian values ​​such as love, justice, truth and loyalty are the main elements in implementing this code of ethics. In the midst of the challenges of modern education, consistent application of the code of ethics strengthens the role of PAK teachers as role models of faith and shapers of students' character. The results of this research emphasize the importance of synergy between a professional code of ethics and Christian values ​​in building education that not only focuses on academic abilities, but also on the moral and spiritual development of students.
