This study aims to determine the role of parenting patterns in controlling early childhood (3-6) years in using gadget that cannot be separated from human life today. The research design uses a descriptive qualitative method with observation and interviews with a sample of 34 children. Based on the results of the study, it was found that in the Sukadamai environment, Seibamban sub-district, children aged 3-6 using gadget for more than two hours have a fairly high presentation of around 29.9% with permissive parenting patterns and a level of use of one to two hours (moderate category) are children with democratic parenting patterns as much as 17.6%. Children with authoritarian parenting patterns use gadget for less than one hour as much as 20.8%. Parents are educators who care for children in a certain way to support their growth, therefore parents must be able to limit the use of gadget for better child growth in the future.
