Abstract

Child development is a process that involves significant physical, cognitive, social, and moral changes throughout their lives. During childhood, cognitive, social and moral development is very important to shape personality and the ability to interact with the environment. The characteristics of children's cognitive development at an early age focus on the ability to think and process information, followed by increased problem-solving abilities and creativity. Meanwhile, children's social development is related to their ability to interact, build relationships, and understand the social norms around them. Moral development in childhood includes understanding the difference between right and wrong, as well as the formation of ethical values that will guide their actions in the future. This study aims to explore the characteristics of cognitive, social and moral development during childhood as well as the factors that influence this development process. With a better understanding of these three aspects, it is hoped that useful insights can be gained for parents, educators and society in supporting optimal child development.
