Hubungan Antara Kode Etik dan Kinerja Guru Profesional Agama Kristen

Abstract

Teachers have a noble duty to advance education, which contributes to the development and progress of the Indonesian nation. As a profession, teachers are governed by a code of ethics that regulates their attitudes and behavior to maintain professionalism and uphold their dignity and honor. However, in reality, many teachers fail to perform their duties professionally, which can negatively impact various stakeholders involved. The author employs a literature review research method to explain the importance of understanding and adhering to the Code of Ethics to enhance teachers' professionalism. The conclusion of this study is that Christian religious education teachers must be able to implement the Indonesian Teacher's Code of Ethics with a deep awareness of God's specific mission in their lives. Consciously improving teachers' professionalism allows them to develop their abilities as instruments in God's hands for His glory.
