Abstract

This article demonstrates that the learning process of "My Unique Self" can enhance students' engagement and interest in learning within their study groups, as well as improve their academic performance. In the first learning cycle, the implementation of "My Unique Self" was carried out using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, combined with discussion-based and information-sharing methods in the classroom. Students were then divided into groups of four and provided with activity sheets on the topic "My Unique Self." In the second learning cycle, the introduction of the "My Unique Self" material was conducted through the Project-Based Learning model using audio-visual media as the primary instructional resource. At the initial stage of this model, students listened to a presentation delivered by the teacher using audio-visual media that incorporated the "My Unique Self" concept. This method led to a noticeable increase in the number of students who showed a higher interest in learning.
