PENGARUH KARAKTER HAMBA TUHAN SEBAGAI KONSELOR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN IMAN JEMAAT GEREJA PENTAKOSTA INDONESIA

Abstract

The influence of the character of God's servants is very important, especially in the life of the congregation today. This research aims to determine the influence of the character of a servant of God as a counselor on the growth of the faith of the Indonesian Pentecostal Church congregation. The population in the study was 105 people and the research sample was 50 people. Data collection regarding the Influence of the Character of a Servant of God as a Counselor on the Growth of the Faith of the Indonesian Pentecostal Church Congregation is a questionnaire. Based on this, the correlation coefficient (ryx) between the variables The Influence of the Character of a Servant of God as a Counselor on the Growth of the Faith of the Indonesian Pentecostal Church Congregation is 0.772 and has a positive relationship. The coefficient of determination of variance R is 0.596, which means that the variable Character of the Servant of God as a Counselor (X) contributes to the growth of the faith of the Indonesian Pentecostal Church congregation (Y) by 77.2%. Based on significance testing with the t test, a coefficient of 4.282 was obtained with a P-value of 0.000, which means it is very significant at the level a> 0.01. So it is concluded that there is a positive and very significant relationship between the variable Character of the Servant of God as a Counselor (X) on the Faith Growth of the Indonesian Pentecostal Church Congregation (Y) where X1 t count> t table is 4.282 > 0.991 and > 0.991 at a<0.05, and the calculated sig is 0.000<0.05. To be able to predict the magnitude of the contribution of the variables Character of the Servant of God as a Counselor (X), Growth of Faith of the Indonesian Pentecostal Church Congregation (Y), the regression equation Y= a + b1X1 + b2X2 or Y= 9.568 + 0.469 with R 0.772 and t-test = 4.282 is obtained. and the calculated F coefficient is 19.948 and P-Value is 0.000. These results show that the regression equation is very significant or very meaningful so it can be used for predictions. The equation Y = 9.568 + 0.469.
