Abstract

Christian Religious Education (PAK) is experiencing a significant transformation in the digital era, demanding educators to play a role beyond mere doctrinal knowledge transfer. This research explores the responsibility of PAK teachers in shaping the character and spirituality of students amid modern challenges' complexity. PAK teachers hold a strategic role not only in transferring religious doctrine but also in guiding students towards spiritual maturity. Through a holistic approach, PAK teachers are required to be role models, utilize digital technology, and develop learning methods that involve students in reflection and development of Christian values. The research demonstrates that in the digital era, the primary challenge is building deep spirituality amidst digital experience fragmentation, technological disruptions, and consumerist culture. In conclusion, PAK teachers have a crucial role in forming a young generation that is faithful, of good character, and capable of facing the complexities of the times with steadfast conviction.
