Teachers have a strategic role in educating the nation's life and shaping future generations. As professionals, teachers are expected to comply with a code of ethics which guides behavior in carrying out their duties ethically and professionally. This article discusses the importance of the code of ethics and professionalism of teachers, especially Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers, in shaping student character. Using a literature study approach, this research identifies the role of teachers as role models who integrate moral values, spirituality and Bible teachings in the learning process. The Teacher Code of Ethics is an important basis for ensuring responsibility and moral quality in the education profession. In the context of character education, student formation involves three main stages: moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. Teachers serve as mentors who motivate and facilitate students to become intelligent, moral individuals and able to bring positive change to society. Holistic character education is the main foundation in achieving sustainable education goals.
