The objective of this study is to determine the extent to which educational interaction can improve student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 173144 Silangkitang. The research employed a quantitative method with an experimental design. The population consisted of all 17 sixth-grade Christian students at SD Negeri 173144 Silangkitang, making this a population study. The research instrument used was an essay-type test administered as both a pre-test and a post-test. The data analysis results indicated that students’ learning outcomes in Christian Religious Education and Character Education improved significantly when taught through educational interaction. This conclusion is supported by the following data: 1) The average post-test score was 85.98, which is higher than the average pre-test score of 58.35, showing a mean difference of 27.63. This suggests a significant descriptive difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. 2) The significance test revealed that the calculated t-value was greater than the critical t-value (α = 0.05; df = n - 1 = 16), specifically 9.815 > 2.120. This indicates a significant effect of the independent variable (educational interaction) on the dependent variable (learning outcomes). Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H₁)—that student learning outcomes in Christian Religious Education and Character Education significantly improve when taught through educational interaction—is accepted.
