Abstract

Previous studies indicate that digital learning media can enhance student motivation, facilitate teacher-student interactions, and promote educational innovation. Student participation in the learning process is a crucial factor in improving learning quality. In the context of Christian Religious Education (PAK), student participation can be evaluated through their engagement in discussions, assignments, and other activities related to the lesson content. This paper employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on literature studies, with books and other sources serving as the primary references. Teachers play a vital role in integrating digital media into the development of the PAK curriculum. Various tools and platforms in digital media technology can be utilized to enhance the quality of learning in this context. The integration of digital media in the development of the PAK curriculum has significantly boosted student participation. Canva, a graphic design platform, enables users to create a wide range of creative designs online, including graphics for social media, presentations, posters, documents, and other visual content. It also assists teachers in preparing teaching materials, designing Bible-based games, and creating Bible verse quizzes. While there are some challenges associated with its use, these can be effectively addressed by presenting material in an interactive and responsive manner. Thus, the use of information technology and digital media has a significant impact on improving the quality of student learning.
